Our Services

Visual Inspection

General Visual Inspection (GVI) and Close Visual Inspection (CVI) are done according to 3.4U quality standards.

GVI provides a holistic assessment of the overall condition of underwater structures, conducted about 2 metres from the structure.

CVI involves a closer examination of critical areas identified during the GVI, typically at a range of as close as 0.5 metres.

2D Mosaic and 3D Visualisation

Our cutting-edge technology offers a multi-dimensional understanding of asset integrity and defect locations, crucial for monitoring underwater infrastructure over time. 2D Mosaic gives a “bird’s-eye view” of the underwater structure, while 3D Visualisation captures a three-dimensional view.

Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) Inspection

PEC inspection is a highly advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) technique used to evaluate the condition of ferrous metal structures. In particular, it does not require the resource-intensive process of removing marine growth, coatings or insulation. This method is particularly valuable for assessing the integrity of sheet piles, pipelines, and other critical assets in marine and energy industries.

Cathodic Protection (CP) Measurement

CP measurement is a crucial component of corrosion control, especially for underwater infrastructure. It involves measuring the electrical potential of metallic structures to assess the effectiveness of its protective system. Our CP measurement services ensure the long-term durability of your assets in harsh underwater environments.
