Open Positions

  • You will report directly to the Software Lead.

    Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with members of a multi-disciplinary team.

    • You are comfortable working at sea trials and pool tests, instead of a normal cubicle in office.
    • You build safe and scalable robotic systems with clean and documented code.

    Job Scope

    • Develop the robotics autonomy engine behind the AUV and ASV
    • Implement perception and fusion algorithms utilising camera, sonar, lidar and radar
    • Implement localisation algorithms fusing multiple navigation and SLAM sensor sources
    • Implement navigation and path planning algorithms
    • Integration of robotics stack with the software architecture
    • Test and debug of robotics algorithms in software in the loop simulation

    Desired Qualities

    • Minimum of Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science
    • 1-3 years of experience writing code for complex robotic systems
    • Experience with Robot Operating System framework
    • Experience with perception and fusion algorithms and libraries including OpenCV, Pointcloud library, Tracking filters, Computer vision techniques
    • Experience with AI, deep learning and machine learning algorithms such as YOLO and Faster RCNN
    • Experience with path planning algorithms such as A*STAR
    • Proficient in Python and C++
    • Proficient in Linux

Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with members of a multi-disciplinary team.

  •  Interfacing COTS hardware to software platform
  • Development of User Centric GUIs
  • Stress-testing vehicle and components in varied environments, iterating on software stack

Desired Qualities

  • Experience with ROS, sensors, relevant open-source libraries
  • Strong fundamentals in mathematics

Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with the Electrical and Software Lead on cross disciplinary decisions.

  • You enjoy product design and are always thinking of how to build something better.

Job Scope

  • Design and Implement overall Mechanical Systems of Autonomous Platforms: Hybrid Underwater Vehicle (ROV+AUV variant) and Autonomous Surface Vessel
  • Establish test procedures for mechanical quality control and regulatory compliance
  • Gather user requirements in collaboration with management team and end customers
  • Lead and groom mechanical team members to achieve high standards in product delivery

Desired Qualities and Skillsets

  • 5 years of experience designing Marine Systems (understanding of Class Regulations is a plus)
  • Experience with marine robotics vehicles: ROV, AUV and ASVs
  • Experience with various manufacturing methods ranging from CNC, welding, to sheet metal fabrication to injection moulding to composites
  • Experience with corrosion control methods and thermal design methods
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and Autodesk or equivalent engineering CAD design software.
  • Proficient in Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation modelling with ANSYS, STARCCM, OpenFOAM or equivalent simulation software
  • Experience with quality control and test procedures for tests such as in Vibration, temperature, humidity testing
  • Possess offshore operational experience in testing of vehicles

Prior to your interview, please prepare:

  • Testimonial of 2 other engineers who have worked under or with you
  • Product Design CAD from a previous project

You will report directly to the CTO.

Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with the Mechanical and Software Lead on cross disciplinary decisions.

  • You are comfortable working at sea trials and pool tests, instead of a normal desk in office.
  • You think that digital oscilloscopes should have minimum of 3 decimal places.
  • You are always creating small sideline electrical projects in your free time.

Job Scope

  • Design and Implement overall Electrical Systems of Autonomous Platforms
  • Establish test procedures for electrical quality control and regulatory compliance
  • Gather user requirements in collaboration with management team and end customers
  • Lead and groom electrical team members to achieve high standards in product delivery

Desired Qualities and Skillsets

  • Experience with battery operated high voltage designs, embedded systems, sensor and actuator interfacing
  • Experience with Altium designer and other equivalent PCB CAD software
  • Experience with Solidworks or other equivalent MCAD software
  • Experience with any 2D schematic, wire harnessing and cable assembly design software
  • Experience with quality control and test procedures for tests such as in EMI-EMC, Vibration, temperature, humidity testing.
  • Experience with C++ for embedded systems programming and development
  • Knowledge of python is a plus for high level interfacing and algorithms development

You will report directly to the Electrical Lead.

Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with a multi-disciplinary team and you need to be comfortable working at sea trials and pool tests, instead of a normal desk in office.

Job Scope

  • Design and Implement sub-components of Autonomous Platforms
  • Carry out intensive bench and in-water testing, and document performance
  •  Gather user requirements in collaboration with management team and end customers

Desired Qualities

  • 1-3 years of experience designing and implementing Electrical Architecture of robotic systems
